Can it be Wednesday the 21st like TODAY? Really can it be? But I know that, the sooner it gets here, the sooner it will be over. :-(
So yes the Minneapolis Aquatennial Torchlight Parade is that day. Josh and I had a good chat on FB last night. Nothing serious like the last one we had. As I said before, my sister Ruthann messaged me on FB saying that I should pick Josh up, at his place, and bring him to the parade site. We will be there all day, setting up and taking everything down. I simply ask him......
"Hey so I got a message from my sister, and she thinks that I should pick you up on Weds."
I was shocked that he was actually there and not just signed it. Josh thought that it was silly to pick him up, seeing as he lives so close to the parade site. he then left it to me, if I still wanted to pick him up.
"I would love too. I don't mind at all."
I finally got his address and direction to his place. *giggles* We had a silly convo about how scared I am to drive into the city. How I am such a suburbs girl.
"Oh ya the 'burbs are fine if you have you're married with kids."
Point taken. I live where it's boring. I told him that driving to his place, was good practice for the future. Of course I got no reply to that. :-P He asked me what my plans were for my other days off. Laundry, grocery shopping. Boring stuff. I told him that I was thinking of seeing the new Leo DeCaprio movie Inception! Josh was supposed to see it with friends from work, but they bailed on him. :-( Just like his friends bailed on him LAST night. Poor guy! Then he says to me........"Well we should see it together sometime!"
Oh Em Gee! I am freaking OUT right now with even the mere thought of it all.
I need to get some makeup on and get to work. BOO!
