Book sales are delightful

Really, it may be most closely related to a religious experience: thousands of books, in all sorts of conditions, on several dozen tables. One never knows what one may find. Hardbacks are $1, and paperbacks are 50 cents. Magnifique!

I spent $12.50, and netted 13 books.

The Nanny Diaries by Nicola Kraus and Emma McLaughlin
The Chamber by John Grisham
Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts
Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton
Echoes by Maeve Binchy
The Classic Tradition of Haiku: An Anthology edited by Faubion Bowers
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them by Newt Scamander AKA JK Rowling
Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up to Me by Richard Fariña
Selections from Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman
The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan
THe God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
A Book of Luminous Things: An International Anthology of Poetry edited by Czeslaw Milosz
Scarlett: The Sequel to Margaret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind by Alexandra Ripley

Can this be heaven? ;)
