I remember when no one knew who Dane Cook was. He was just some guy that played at the Laugh Factory and occasionally travelled to Boston and New York.
Suddenly he's the most popular comedian in the world.
And on top of that, people that are just learning about him start acting like THEY introduced everyone to dane and no one would know who he was if it wasn't for them.
I actually had someone tell me that once.
I laughed in their face and told them I knew who he was loooooong before they did.
Anyways, he's coming to Boston to do his hbo special, and it seems like everyone in the world has tickets. Of course I bought mine, because it's dane, and sure I've seen him twice already. But hey, he's funny and three times is just as good.
I just think it's funny that everyone thinks he's this new thing, and really he's been around since Denis Leary introduced him in Comics Come Home 5...or 6.
Considering they just did Comics Come Home 11 though, it's pretty obvious that he's not that new, and that a lot of people just don't watch Comedy Central or pay attention to Denis.
See you on 15th of April, because everyone and their DOG is going, and they're all in the balcony.
