It would be great fun for us to gather more informally and get to know one another better. That is certainly one of the great benefits to being part of a small law school!
I wish I had room in my new place to have everyone over, but I do not. So, instead, I hope we can take a break and smell the roses over coffee, exploring a fine Davis coffee venue. We can chat about non-class related things like life in / around Davis, career goals, hobbies, favorite movies etc
To that end, I am posting a sign-up sheet outside my office. This “serious meeting” (joke) over coffee is certainly 100% optional. If you would like to join in one of the small groups, please sign up at your leisure.

No one told me professors did this!!! This is actally the second professor who has done this already. I am kind of surprised, but its definitely a nice gesture.
