In the woods in the Great Lakes, branches always intertwine and create tangles like this abstract above.
It makes me think about the Buddhist idea of interdependence that Thich Nhat Hanh teaches about. How when the wind blows a rose bush, the dogwood that is touching it moves too.
Right now life is influenced by so many winds, it is sometimes hard to stand straight rather than bending and intertwining. But a forest is not made only of brush. Learning to stand like the trunk of a tree while letting branches be flexible can help grow healthily.
