Another day. Yet again, life is going pretty well.
Today i began my day with the family, we were pretty lazy to start the morning just sitting bundled up (at least they were, silly Charlotteans) drinking coffee and watching tv dry and inside. That was very relaxing but also the best way to make me lazy. Nonetheless, I got dressed, went to Lilly's game, was productive, and saw/talked to so many awesome people. Sushi 101 was as awesome as ever, especially with Jillian's company. We talked some more about what we are up to, and the fact that there was a fall festival in the Promenade complete with a tractor full of children and all. That was nice. Very nice to get in the holiday spirit and be in the company of a very missed friend. After some Starbs and Go Fish, I said my goodbyes to Jillian and went to Eli and Chris' game. It was pretty chilly out on the fields but it was nice to be able to go to their game, especially since I hadn't been able to go since I've been up in Boone every weekend. I had to leave the game a bit early to go to the Mars and I had so many wonderful surprises at work. I worked alongside many old crew members and some not so cool kids. Besides that and the usual rude customers, I had 3 very important people sit in my section. First, the lovely and wonderful Natalie came by to visit, say good bye and leave me wonderful presents. My night could have been complete with that, but not too long after Jillian showed up too for a cup of ice/coke and a cookie. We talked for a little and she too said her goodbyes and went on her way. My 2 favorite people had come in to see me at work. I can't even begin to tell you what a wonderful feeling it is when your friends make time out of their lives to come into that silly fish/fried food smelling Greek restaurant I love. Makes me job so much better and makes me just 100 times happier. Well, I thought that was it for my luck that night but then in walks Jon. No matter how much I say I hate him, I know I don't. I hadn't seen my squirt in over 3 weeks and looking up to see that he had just walked through that door was super nice. He too came by to eat and sit in my section but the best part is that he had saved me some Yummy Bars. Only true hardcore Showmars kids know what those are. The moral of this story is that never underestimate how wonderful your friends are. Because they never quit surprising you. I'm going back pretty soon and even thought Thanksgiving seems far away, I can't wait to see Jon, Jillian and Natalie again.

I can't wait to see my Boone again, or jump back into my wonderful world of teaching, or praise and pray with CCM, or play some kickbutt soccer, or see some snow, or talk about majors, or see Carlisle. But for now, I'm gonna enjoy another night in my bed, and tomorrow will be another awesome day. Especially since we get to celebrate daddy's birthday. together.
