A/N: Okay, so. I had a lot of restrictions on myself for this one. I wanted Jack/Juliet, obviously, I wanted to use the line I used to end it, I wanted it to be 100 words exactly, and I wanted it to fit with Hanson's Save Me because it kind of goes along with the whole idea of Jack and Juliet and the way they don't need anything, don't need each other, except for the fact that they do, of course. Also, run-on sentences. Anyway. Title's from the song.

It's a dream.
You're running down a slope, the grass thick and wet beneath you, and it's following you. Faster, it's coming faster- and you feel its wisps curl against your heels- and- and- you've fallen- you breathe in but it's fog, it's solid, it's ice in your lungs-
"Save me," you whisper, the words hoarse, harsh in your mouth.
"Shhh," you hear, "Shhh," but the comfort is hazy, unreachable.
"Save me," you say, and it's a trembling you feel.
"I don't need to," she says, her hand cool against your cheek.
You jolt awake.
She tastes of the sea.
