You always ask why I love you.
The truth. Why do I struggle to give you a solid answer?
Because I love everything about you. I don't love you out of convenience, I don't love you for what you can offer me. I love YOU. Sometimes you drive me crazy, sometimes I drive you crazy, but underneath all that, I cannot imagine my life without you in it. I. Love. You.
Don't say that I have more practice with that then you, because that's not the truth either. Yes, I've had more relationships than you, but none of them meant to me what US means to me. All of my past relationships have been completely one sided, and I allowed myself to believe in the fantasies because it was so nice to go around thinking everything was perfect. This is why I am sure that what we have is TRUE love. Because I am not always content. I am not always blissed out. I have doubts, we have arguments, and everything that we go through is real.
I've never been more proud of anything in my life than getting to be your best friend. You know me, inside and out. Good and bad. That's where forever love is born.
When I first met you, I never could have imagined feeling this way about another person. I didn't know then that I would fall in love, and I wouldn't go back and change one single day of our nearly 4 years together, because those days, even and especially the bad ones, made us who we are. If our love can endure everything that we have put it through so far, I don't think there is anything it can't withstand.
