I liked this survey, so I thought I'd do it real quick. Besides, it's been a while. Hope you all are having a wonderful winter break!
.2005.
1) Was 2005 a good year for you?
You know what? It was.
2) What was your favorite time of the year?
Hmmm... this last fall was really fun, although I've really enjoyed this year just in general.
3) What was your least favorite time of the year?
There was a time in the spring that I felt pretty down, probably right around February/March. Then again, I always feel that way in the spring.
4) Where were you when 2005 began?
Over at Valarie's house, making toasts with Martinelli's for at least an hour.
5) Who were you with?
Valarie, Amanda and Betsy at midnight, but I had had dinner earlier that night with Jackie, Olivia, Kelsey and Vanessa.
6) Where will you be when 2005 ends?
Well, I was at Danielle's house with Danielle and Valarie (and D.J. and Tyler for a little while.) We watched Harry Potter and talked till the wee hours of the morning.
7) Who will you be with when 2005 ends?
Uh, just said that.
8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2005?
I don't think I made any, just some toasts about what we were hoping to come. :-P
9) Do you have a new years resolution for 2006?
We talked about this. I think I just want to have a great year. I feel like this will be a big year and lots of significant things will happen, and not just to everyone else this year. To me too.
10) Did you fall in love in 2005?
No.
11) If yes, with who?
It's a no.
12) If yes, do they know?
Go ahead, keep asking.
13) Are you still in love with them?
You jerk.
14) Did you breakup with anyone in 2005?
No. There was nobody I was serious enough with to break up with.
15) Do you have regrets?
At the moment, no. I feel quite content.
16) Did you make any new friends in 2005?
Yes! I think so, at least. And I'm very pleased about that because I haven't had to make new friends/haven't really made new friends in years.
17) Who are your favorite new friends?
What? I'm not answering this. All of my friends are my favorite.
18) What was your favorite month of 2005?
Probably... November? Well, we went to Disneyland, had some gatherings, Thanksgiving was fun... I don't know. There were a lot of good months.
19) Did you travel outside of the US in 2005?
No, but I will in 2006!
20) How many different states did you travel to in 2005?
California and Utah and Nevada. That's 3 and that's it.
21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2005?
Thank goodness, I didn't.
22) Did you miss anybody in the past year?
Yes, but I miss people every year all the time. Unfortunately, we can't be surrounded all the time with all the people we care about.
23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2005?
That's really hard. I loved Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Pride and Prejudice, Star Wars... there were a lot of good ones.
24) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2005?
Nope. Do I ever? I expect to drink a little more in the coming year, I'm not going to lie. But, still not that much.
25) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2005?
No. I liked the pot in a pot though.
26) How many people did you sleep with in 2005?
Uh, zero.
27) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Not really. I had my moments that I was a little ridiculous, but eh. It happens.
28) What was the worst lie you told someone in 2005?
It wasn't really a lie, more like not revealing the entire truth. Knowing things, but not being able to say them. Does that make sense?
29) Did you treat somebody badly in 2005?
I'm sure there were times I did or people thought I did, but it was never intentionally.
30) Did somebody treat you badly in 2005?
Again, same answer as above. I had no falling outs, if that's what you mean.
31) How much money did you spend in 2005?
A lot. I try to live frugally, but I like to buy things and eating out or going to the movies costs a lot of money. 2006 will be a lot more expensive though.
32) What was your proudest moment of 2005?
I don't know. Maybe getting through classes with good grades and writing some things I was really proud of
33) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2005?
I don't get embarrassed too easily, even though I'm clumsy and kind of dumb. Maybe just feeling a little silly at certain things I said or did in front of, uh, certain people.
34) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2005 and change, what would it be?
Probably my behavior at some points last spring. I was kind of whiny and needy at some points in the year and I'm glad my friends were willing to put up with me.
35) What are your plans for 2006?
Travel to England (and many other parts of Europe), graduate, and enjoy my senior year with my family and friends. And, of course, Vegas baby. August 06. Heck yes.
As I was filling out this survey, I realized just how different the various parts of 2005 felt. Even last spring feels like it was a world away, and in a way, this fall already does as well. Summer and summer school were even different than the rest of the year. And it's really weird how I started the year close wtih people and ended up close to completely different ones. I'm not thinking it's a bad thing at all, just interesting. This whole growing up thing is finally starting to happen and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next. It's unbelievable. You know that part of Harry Potter we keep quoting, "Everything is going to change now, isn't it?" Well, in a lot of ways it already has. And I think things will continue to change from now on too. I just hope to keep being happy and enjoying everything. Happy New Year everyone--hope you had a fabulous 2005 and an even more amazing year to come.
