So, since I haven't updated since school started, I thought I might throw an entry in here.
A lot has happened.
First of all, the apartment is great. Monica and I have so much in common and can talk about anything--it's so fun. We have similar (weird) senses of humor and laugh a lot, but can be quiet and get homework done when need be. And... we have two guest rooms still (knock on wood they remain open this semester!)
Next, school sucks. For the first couple of weeks of school, I locked myself in the apartment and wouldn't come out because I had SO much homework. I've warped into slacker mode the last few days, but am sure I will re-enter the homework bubble some time soon.
The Blue Party was this past weekend. I had so much fun, thank you to everybody who came. I hope ya'll had a good time too. The most interesting stuff, however, has been what I call, "The Blue Party Aftermath." There was Red Party Aftermath, but I don't feel like it was as shocking or severe. At least, not at first.
Yeah, you're not getting any more out of me besides that.
I'm going home this weekend and Kelsey and Jackie, you bitches better hang out with me... or else...
Seriously though, I miss you guys. I miss everybody. It was SO good to see Shawn and Danielle this weekend. This year, because Jackie and Betsy both left, and Erika and Allison live so far away, I feel like I have a very different group of friends. I like it and I like everybody a lot, but I do miss my old high school friends a lot, too. So, hopefully, this not seeing my old friends thing won't become the pattern.
On that note, everyone take note: Olivia's birthday is on October 21 and I am SO going to Thatcher some time within those couple of weeks. Not on the 21st, since we're going to Old Tucson that night (and all of you better come too!), but one of those days. I'll check my planner (sad, I know. I hate homework.)
I take the LSATs on October 1st. Expect some major bubble action the last week of September.
Also, Monica and I really want to go to Disneyland some time in November. Drive all night, play all day, drive back the next day. It's going to be so freaking fun. You should come.
I saw "Elizabethtown" on Thursday and I LOVED it. Orlando looked great in it and I thought it was a funny and touching movie.
I watched "Little Women" today and cried. I'm such a sappy loser. (I didn't cry at the death, just so you know... I cried at the end, because it's happy. I believe in happy endings and don't like it when movies don't have them. If I wanted to be depressed, I'd watch the news. Thanks.)
Is there any other major event that I'm leaving out? (Thinking out loud...)
No, I guess not. The semester is going by SO fast I can't even stand it. I'm kind of glad, because that means I get to go to England sooner, but I don't like the idea of wishing my life away. Yet, inevitably, I feel myself doing it every single semester.
It's almost CHRISTMAS! WOO HOO!
And yes, I definitely already bought my Christmas cards. You know I rock so hard. :-)
