I don't have any coherent thoughts on this week's episode (except "hey, casual gay, where you been since the Davies era?"). However, while rewatching The Impossible Astronaut I wound up accidentally replaying and replaying the scene where River Song shoots until she runs out of bullets, all choked up, face wrought with emotion, and then we cut to a shot of the best ass in the world.
Tragically the ass just doesn't read in a hundred square pixels, or this would be an icon by now.
I will contain my drool, but let it be said that there are reasons why I love River Song and her gun-happy badassery is only one of them.
