I just opened my natural gas bill for the past month.....
I had heard that gas prices were going to go up, but Holy Jesus!
My bill went from $.6153 per therm to $1.1069 per therm. Now I don't exactly know how they measure 'therms' but last months bill was
$74.62 for Gas Service PLUS
$100.49 for 90.79 therms used at $1.1069
total bill for December $175.11!!!!
my monthly budget payment is $85.00
Holy shit! and it was not even that cold for December!!!
that means I am looking at hundreds of dollars for Jan and Feb and possibly March.
I may have to put in the insulated panels in my patio windows this winter. I don't want to but I think I will have to....
