So Christmas eve was pretty decent.
Nathan Came over and Its safe to say i haven't seen him in soooo long.
and he came to church with the family, and then we went over to my gramma's for a christmas eve party. poor kid had to meet the family. haha.
came back here and hung out a while. im glad the two of us can actually hang out as friends now. he's a good pal.
this morning, of course brecklynn was the first one up and had to wake everyone else up. 6 o clock. WTF?!
now listen to this shitty deal...
so. I open all of my presents. and i knew i got a cell phone, and i knew what the package was going to feel like, so i waited till the last one before i opened it.
when i finally got to it.. it was the phone i've been wanting for soooo long. and i finally got it. hooray? maybe....not? so here's the deal. my dad spent mucho mucho on this phone off of some (cell phone store) linked with ebay. and it was brand new. and when i opened it. those little packing peanuts filled my day with happiness.. all of the new stickers and everything. yesss... so i try to activate it with my number. and the lady says..."im sorry ma'am we can't activate this phone because there is a police report on it... its' been stolen." so i say, "IT'S BEEN STOLEN!??!" and my dad runs in the room and gets on the phone... turns out. this dude gets truckloads of new electronic shit and sells it for pretty good money.. and some shit is easy to sell.. but we caught him in the act. it just sucks. now my dad has to call his credit card company and pay pal and get his money back. but when we called the dude... (get this.. he used someone elses address, and just so happens the lady knew him, and gave us his home number) he sounded ultra sketch.. and was like.. i can't call them, they wont straighten it out over the phone. you'll just have to ship the product back, and we'll do a electronic transaction for your money.
the way i see it... my dad had to pay first in order to get the phone, so he should have to give my dad's money back before we ship him back the phone. other wise the dude runs off with his stolen shit, and my dads dinero. WHAT AN ASS BAG.
other than that though, i made out pretty well. ya know, the usual. gift cards, clothes, yada yada. oh well... we're going to the verizon kiyosk (sp) in the mall when my dad gets his money back and i get to pick out a phone.
i hope you all had wonderful christmas'. and more importantly...i hope you all are thankful that we get this holiday. its not about presents. and i hope you know that. (cough cough)
happy birthday Jesus :)
love always,
Bridgett
