Because I am a GIANT egotist, and by that I mean I'm REALLYREALLY vain:
I swapped some babysitting for a photo shoot, since I needed senior pictures and had no intention of putting on a sweater set and leaning against a tree. They're all taken downtown, some in this amazing alley full of brightly-colored graffiti that is the coolest part of my town.
Big picture. Unfortunately it's in black and white, as are all the other good shots I got in the alley.
Again with the alley, but at least I'm smiling in this one.
I love how paranoid I look here.
I was trying to look SO INTENSE and it kind of worked.
Kinda dorky and typical, but I like the shape that my body makes, the triangle against the parallel lines of the fence.
TIME FOR A VOTE! I'm having trouble deciding between the following two pictures for my actual senior picture. Please lemme know which one you like better.
In other news, I'm completely enchanted by the Sopranos fourth season. And no, I haven't seen seasons one through three. But it is just so fucking cool.
Also: Bophie, thank you a million times for telling me about Diane di Prima. I'm reading her "Recollections of My Life as a Woman" and absolutely adoring it. It's making me long to tie a scarf around my head, throw on a man's shirt and some beat-up jeans, and wander around New York drinking coffee and listening to jazz. In fact, I might just do so.
over and out,
J
