Mira, painting, etc.
We picked Russian names today! I seriously spent forever translating that whole list of names into recognizable sounds and meticulously picking one. Ooops? Anyway, I am now Mira (I wish I knew how to type in Cyrillic on here.) Although Lydia, Sophia, and Isabella were close picks too.
Today was good. No reason; just was. I was told I have "that vague untouchable aire." Whatever that means. When first meeting people, I'm aware that I can come off as stuck-up, but I much prefer his phrase. I'm in charge of recycling here, so I started painting some lovely signs for it and for sorting...need to finish that tomorrow. Yay painting; yay recycling.
I'm pretty sure that my scabs and such on my legs from having poison ivy twice this summer are officailly scars or on their way to it, which is rather annoying.
Good things coming up: Planning on wandering down to the 4th Street Festival sometime this weekend. ...Saturday = first ever home IU sporting event. For free! A friend of a friend won tickets to Saturday's game. Next weekend = campout at McCormick's Creek! Later Sept. = high ropes course! Zipline!
