Rollerskating, HP, kiddie camp, etc.

---We went rollerskating at Mac's the other day.  Good times.  I haven't been rollerskating in forever.   Certainly not since R-Way, which was a long time ago.
---I have, and I exaggerate not, 121 different data sheets for analyzing my data.  I made 30 of those, and thought I was doing a pretty good job of organizing things and looking at it, and then I talked to Patrick, and he gave me 91 formatted sheets for me to fill out and look at things differently.  It's taking forever.
---Finished Harry Potter!   Out of respect for those who haven't, I give no comments.  Although after I got it, I was debating whether or not I wanted to read the jacket cover at all, or just dive right in.  Though when I opened it,  I noticed all it said was "We now present the seventh and final installment of the epic tale of Harry Potter."  I liked that.  It sounds ominous.  Nothing to go on, just read it.  :)
---Ice Cream party yesterday at RV2 (research village).  Yum.   There was some frisbee, but as it was only a couple inches in diameter, it didn't work very well.
---I went to the "kiddie camp" and talked about my research.  They're really young, and my introduction was funny, "this is a real, live scientist and she's going to tell us about what she does."  It actually went really well.  They liked my game.  And they liked the dragonflies I brought to show them.  Afterward there was a construction paper thank you in my mailbox signed by all of them in crayon.
--The last seminar and potluck is tomorrow.  Yay for no more having to actuallly attempt to cook good food for people.
--My dad called me today.  He's feeling better.  Has to walk with a walker though, crutches when he goes out, because he considers it more managable in public.  And go to physical therapy.  No surgery though, which is good.  But he'll take several weeks to get better, which means we can't play tennis.  Which makes me sad.  I always look forward to playing tennis with him when I go home.

And with that, I end this mundane update on my life.  Back to data entry.
