Is this thing on?

With the return of every sun comes the return of every shadow. Or at least those who dwell within them. Sort of the way I and each of our companions wallow in the shadow of allfor_one.

He smirks. At least we like to let him think so. Athos' grandiose disposition may not be a child of admiration. Truly and without arguement is his honor earned at the slash of ( Read more... )

((This is OOC! Just wanted to let you know that a tornado hit Jess' area and she's without power for right now. She's okay and everyone else is okay but there's still a lot of bad weather there. She wanted me to give you an update so you don't think she up and left ;) ))

Ah, the wondrous madamme Frances.

It is now as it has always been a pleasure to stand in the presence of such radiance. I look forward to our next meeting.

An elegant eyebrow arches upward in doubt but certainly not in surprise as Aramis lets lose of his usual flowery commentary.

Aramis, you are still as charming as ever. If I said I missed you, that would be an understatement. Heaven knows you were always the far more reasonable, if not more verbose of your commrades. How fare you?

You flatter me.

I don't know about reasonable. Heaven guides a path a bit less emotionally motivated and teaches restraint. The discipline to have faith in the face of hardship, to believe that there is something greater protecting you even when it does not feel like it is not easy. Nor is holding ones' lashing tongue when pride or self-righteousness has been questioned.

.... alright, I am the more reasonable one.

As far as how I fare, I am well, now. The past year has not been kind, but God sees us through all things, and returns us to proper paths when we go astray whether we have reason to or not.

He smiles.

Maybe that's why I've managed to wander my way back here.
