There he is, comfortable in a cotton shirt and baggy pants and a huge-ass grin, making his way down the lines of fans smiling and relaxed, shoulders down where they belong, eyes sparkling and so clear you can see into them all

you must get tired of hearing it, how grateful i am to have met this karl, how much i adore him. i would give so much to hear him say this line, in his own voice.

this AU is a fucking triumph. you know that, don't you?

on both levels. the 'them' level - that they were able to make this work, when three is so hard, there are so many ways for it to go wrong, that their crazy schedules, the constant traveling, the pressures of fame, and lesser fame... and orlando's depression, and karl's doubts and homesickness, and viggo's exhaustion and his being so embroiled, tangled up, with nickolai - - all of that should make them impossible. but they are, they're there, being together, 'true' if not 'real'.

and the 'you' level, that you hear this and you let it out so purely, through your own filter, but unpolluted, untwisted, just so right.

any of those things had gone wrong, gotten in the way, and we wouldn't have this, and you wouldn't have me in happy tears so often. but they have all gone right, and we have it, and i'm sniffling again. that's the triumph.

it's a grace that they let me. who am i to turn that down, or twist it to my own purposes?

I'm so glad that Orlando is back home where he belongs... in body and in spirit. He is happy once again and Viggo and Karl are so fortunate that it did work. So am I, come to think of it.
