anglo-saxon english is hard to read.
the seven deadly sin's don't seem to be all that deadly.
it's rediculous that every religion has the ultimate punishment be death; that the ultimate fear is death.i would go as far to say that the ultimate collective dipiction of punishment IS death. i can think of alot more worse things then death, personally. not to mention the fact that it's enevitable, that kind of puts a shadow over it all. if i were to start a religion ( i would perfer a cult ,it'd be more fun) i definitely would not have the ultimate punishment be something so......unavoidable.you'd think that would kind of depress people a little bit too much. but then again, most religion's have death be the ultimate prize.

i find it interesting that in hell (in some religions) most of the suffereing is physical pain, a sort of eternal death of the body. but in heaven, the prize is not physical. From what i can tell heaven is just a nice place with alot of gold, with a little bit of peace of mind. but no physical enjoyment; which would infact be the opposite of what "hell"is. why not, have some orgies going on up there, i'm sure that's what people would really want after a hard painful life, anyway right? or at least some sort of PHYSICAL pleasure. this excludes the Muslims of course they get seven virgins, but the Koran never directly says that anybody would be doing anything with um, they could , just be standing there, i dunno, it doesn't matter. the point is the senses shouldn't be looking down upon as a conduit of sin and pain only. it should be a vassal for enjoyment, it should be the prize.
