Falling
I'm falling hard for him. I know I haven't mentioned his name yet... I suppose its pretty safe at this point. His name is Scott. Like I said, I'm falling hard. He's totally not like any man I ever pictured myself with, yet we work. He's got a very dry cynical personality, while I'm sarcastic with my heart on my sleeve. Kind of strange, but we work. I love when he opens up to me and is completely sweet. He tells me how much he misses me or holds me close. Obviously, we've kissed at this point. ;) In fact, we cornily constantly calling each other "boyfriend" and "girlfriend".
He came to Huntsville with me two weekends ago to visit all of my friends. I was blown away that he agreed to come. And once he did agree, I decided to myself that it would either solidify what we had or kill it. Most normal couples don't have weekends away together after barely only 2 months. However, it well spectacularly. He got along with all of my friends (that we saw anyway... I was kind of disappointed with the amount of people that didn't come out to see me... but whatever), and seemed to enjoy spending lots of time with me. He kept asking if I was happy that he came with me on my trip and that he was happy to be spending time with me. He also asked where our next trip was going to be to. I told him that I have to go to Austin later this year, and he seemed semi-interested in that.
I just still can't believe I have this man in my life. I can't believe there's a man out there that I can't get enough of. I honestly want to see him every single day. I sleep over at his house probably 4 nights a week, and that still doesn't feel like enough for either of us. But I don't want to rush things... that's for sure. I need to constantly remind myself that we've only been dating for 3 months. But he seems like he was as ready for a relationship like this one as I was. So who knows what the future holds. I guess that's the beauty... is that I'm open to it. And I'm not about to rush it. I'm going to enjoy the present... something I haven't been able to do in quite some time.
