Teen Dies after Riding Atop Car
A teenager is dead and five others are injured after a major wreck overnight.
Police say the teenager was riding on top of a moving car heading north on Villamain (on the south side). The driver of the vehicle somehow lost control and slammed into a tree, killing the teenager instantly. Five passengers in the car were transported to area hospitals. Some of them are reportedly in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle may face charges.
