LJ is always good; at least you don't have a complete stranger adding you for no real reason (myspace,) being pestered by annoying kids (beebo, etc...)

Sounds like you parents are forcing their expectations onto you (growls,) they just need to back off and give you some space to breathe; heh, the same could be said about where I'm living at the moment, they expect us to be adults, yet they treat us like kids...and it's making me (literally) sick. Either way, I fully understand your situation.

Unfortunately, I think it's something that everyone our age can relate to. I have a pretty awesome and pampered life, when I think about it, and it's pathetic that I forget that just because of restrictions.

So I just walked into the music computer lab today and realized that we have those humongous macs as well. What, do they think we're blind or something? I mean, is it seriously necessary for the screens to be that big?!

And I totally get where you're coming from on the parents front. My parents seriously thing I'll be better off dropping out of school than getting a music degree. And I know this won't be helpful to know, but having them live on the other side of the world doesn't make it any better. You'd think it would, but it doesn't.
