Just a tiny update with some minor ranting included. Enjoy! :D

New books/movies:
Movies:
4. Night at the Museum - Ben Stiller as a night guard at the museum where things come to life. Wasn't too bad. Had a few laughs.
5. The Hitcher (remake) - Sean Bean was a very convincing bad guy. And a very hot one at that. :D There were a few parts that ( Read more... )

The Hitcher... want to ask you a question about it, but I don't want to spoil it for other people... *hmmm...*

Brother Odd... did you read "Forever Odd"? That was the second one. Brother Odd is the third. I SO lived Odd Thomas. So sad how it ended. I think I cried. I just love Odd. He's great.

A Kiss of Shadows/tentacle sex - LOL!!!

Burnt Offerings... that's when the series is still good and hasn't turned into mostly porn yet. :)

TDF & BSG - I liked both, too.
Dresden... Would have really liked it if they did it like the books... not necesarily the books stories themselves, but the little things (like his duster, beetle, Mister, etc)... and why change Murphy's first name? Grrr.
I guess when the next Dresden book comes out, that'll make me happier. :D

SG1 - last season and will go byebye. I haven't followed the show, but I heard the cry of all the geeks around the world... NOOOO!!!

About the Hitcher question - you can always screen the comment :D

Yep, I've read all 3 Odd Thomas books. I like Odd as well.

As for Dresden, I still haven't read any of the books. I do hate when they change random things that would have been no problem at all to keep.

Hmmm... thanks for answering my question. C. Thomas Howell was the orignal Hitcher? Strange. Sean Bean's so much better. :)

As far as the Dresden books, perhaps try a used bookstore. I've seen used books exchange sites online somewhere. I dunno... just trying to help. I just think Jim Butcher rocks and everyone should read his stuff. :D

Oh, wait. I was confused. I thought you meant the lead guy, not the hitcher. The original Hitcher was Rutger Hauer (love him!). I don't know how he died in the first one.

I definitely have Jim Butcher on my list of authors to read.. I just have to hunt the books down! :D

No no... the guy getting ripped apart was who I was originally talking about... the guy in the car that picks up the hitcher and later gets ripped in half by the two semis. (That appeals to my bloody whore demented side.) :)

So you're saying C. Thomas Howell is the guy that gets ripped in half in the original? That's cool. Now a huge fan of his. Ohhhh, Rutger Hauer... he's all sorts of sexy. I wouldn't do him, but he just rocks and exudes awesomeness. Hauer... Bean... ugh. They both rock.

If all else fails, I could offer you my Butcher books... if you promise to take good care of them and not to dog ear pages, etc. My books are my babies. :D

It was funny... right when I read our conversation to my roomie (the one who started this whole thing with 'in the original that guy gets ripped apart')... he said then after I read him what you wrote before, "I think it's the girlfriend that gets ripped in half now that I think about it." Stupiddummyhead. :)

>No, C. Thomas Howell survives<
*shrug*
Actually, it reminds me of Jeepers Creepers... except the one that shows up in the sequel is the dead guy. LOL!

>Ok. I checked wikipedia. In the original, she's not his girlfriend, but the chick (played by Jennifer Jason Leigh) is the one who gets ripped apart.<
Oh cool... not a big fan of hers either. :P

>But in the remake, the guy (Jim is his name) is the one who gets pulled apart.<
Wow! I wonder why they do that... switch things around like that. *shrug*

>Rutger Hauer is all kinds of awesome.<
Yes he is.

>Totally loved him in the Buffy movie.<
That movie was so lame it was cool.

>And Deadlock.<
Never seen it.

>I haven't thought of that movie in years.See what I bring out in ( ... )
