Yay!

What a fun day. It was like my birthday, only 7 weeks early. Bought DDR today. I didn't buy a bundle like I had planned - I was gonna get the DDR Supernova Bundle, but since I rarely have extra money to spend, I decided to go for cheaper. I bought a $20 dance pad that works with both the gamecube and PS2 (I have access to both.) and a used DDR Mario Mix game. The total came to $48 and some change. If I had bought the bundle, it would have been over $60! The Mario game isn't quite what I wanted, but it's still fun. We (Chris and I took turns) beat the game (on Easy mode) in a little over an hour.

Also, Chris gave me my b-day present today. He wasn't going to, but he accidentally told me about it. :D It's the Friday the 13th - From Crystal Lake to Manhattan box set. :D 8 movies! *dances* I love these movies. They're so cheesy and not scary. Now if I could only get the Nightmare on Elm Street box set... Ooh, and they need to make a Halloween box set. I'd love to have that as well. Wait! There is one. Man. It's only in Region 2. I so need an all-region dvd player.

I also have a movie and some books to add to my lists.
Movie:
(108) Nothing - starring David Hewlett and Andrew Miller. It's about 2 guys who are not happy with the world around them, so they "hate" it away - leaving them surrounded by nothingness. It's a lot funnier than it sounds. :D

Books: <-- see that! Plural! :D
(42) Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon - book 4 in the Outlander series. It wasn't as good as the first 3, but still readable.

(43) Inkheart by Cornelia Funke - It's about a book-binder and his daughter. The book-binder (Mo) has the ability to read characters out of a book. Like literally out of the book. I was a little bored with it, but it's really not that bad. I don't know if I want to read the sequel or not.

(44) The Laughing Corpse by Laurell K. Hamilton - Another Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter book. I like supernatural/zombie/vampire/lycanthrope books. Just a light fluffy read. :D

(45) Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I was hesitant to read this book because I knew it was part of a series and my craptastic public library only has the 2nd one (Speaker for the Dead) as an audio book. More specifically, audio cassettes. That wouldn't be a problem if I had a cassette player. :( Anyway. I liked it very much and will be searching for the 2nd one somewhere. Hopefully for really cheap. I'm not a book buyer - I rarely reread books.

Now, I need to decide whether to play Mario Mix or watch Friday the 13th. :D
