....and another little subject
This was going to be a ranting post or at least contain a little complaining, but the situation has resolved itself. :D
I missed The Closer tonight. I normally watch Treasure Hunters at 8pm and then catch the encore presentation of The Closer at 10pm. They didn't show it again at 10. :( BUT it does come on at 7 tonight, so all is well.
Finished reading book 30/50 - The Codex by Douglas Preston. Was about this grave-robber/antique trader who has cancer and decides to bury himself with his "treasure" (worth about half a billion, btw) and challenges his sons to find him (and thus retrieve their inheritance). It was pretty interesting - a fast read, and that's always good.
I also watched 2 more movies:
(89) Videodrome - I was flipping though the channels, trying to find something to have on in the background while playing the Sims. Saw this was just about to start on Sundance (I think. Either that or IFC) and that it has James Woods in it. (I don't know why, but I have this unnatural fascination with James Woods.) About 30 minutes into it, the only thought on my mind was "WTFing hell am I watching?!?!" It was so weird and gory - you'd think it'd be my kind of movie, but it was too whacked out for me. Did watch it all though. Was still thinking "WTF?!" when it was over.
(90) Pride and Prejudice - I needed something light and fluffy after watching #89. This was a very loose adaptation of the Jane Austen book. And it involved Mormons. Not that there's anything wrong with Mormons, but it was just weird having it in the movie. I have to say it's the worst P&P movie I've ever seen. I'll take Colin Firth's Darcy anyday. :D
And now I will go back to sorting my Sims Download folder. And download more crap I don't need.
Also, I have a strange desire to watch Smallville. Good thing I have access to the first 4 seasons on DVD.
