To say that I am stunned at the polls this week would be an understatement. I am really surprised that my entry garnered so many votes - and really happy too. Small confession time: I wrote the piece in ten minutes because it was the only time I had before the baby woke up screaming. So I know it's not the best written story in the world but I hoped that the concept would be strong enough to carry it through. Hopefully I'll find the time soon to rework it and make it as good as it should be.
But in the meantime I did want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me. I know it's only week 1 of a marathon, but I really appreciate the support, especially as an unknown name who isn't going to pimp.
