"You were mean to me for no reason." Aww Asher. I know that sounds kind of immature-ish, but honestly, sometimes maturity is overrated. Besides, it's mostly the phrasing, now that I think about it. There's nothing wrong in telling someone you're upset over them being a jerk for no reason. The thing with Asher is, he's very open and genuine, even if that leans to him saying stupid shit sometimes or phrasing things in a simplistic way. And I appreciate that, because not enough people are open enough.

Laurel shattering her family's perfect world was funny. Although...some of those things probably were a little too crude for the dinner table.

Ouch. That was cold Aiden. Poor Michaela. Although she really has to get over her strange phobia of Aiden cheating on her specifically with guys. It's like, honey, no.

Connor and Oliver were actually kinda cute this episode. Wow. I still can't say I like the pairing and I'm still pissed at fandom's reaction toward things in S1A. But, IDK, maybe they'll grow on me. Oliver looks so much better without the glasses. ... I am a little frustrated at the OOC sort of jump they have Connor do from "I don't do boyfriends" to "I have a boyfriend." He has hardly known Oliver what? Four months about. During which time they mostly just had sex. That's not enough for a Brian Kinney-esque transformation. It took Brian 5 seasons and it still felt a tad forced. But, I suppose, this may also be driven by the fact that Oliver is the only person outside the other people involved in Sam's murder (and Frank and Bonnie) who has even the slightest clue that at least SOMETHING is seriously wrong in Connor's life. But, honestly, him turning down having a fling because he has a "boyfriend"? Totally unauthentic rushed character development. Shoddy work, basically. As so much is with the Connor/Oliver relationship. (Also, from a character variety standpoint, there's no use having a character who doesn't do relationships if he's going to willingly put himself into one half-way through the first season. I mean, I'm assuming they're intending for this show to have more than 1 or even 2 seasons.)

What Annalise did with the plea bargain lie. NOT OK AT ALL. Absolutely unprofessional and unethical. I just. NO. You withdraw from a case or you stay loyal to your client. If you're a defense attorney you better fucking know the people you defend are not going to be innocent for the most part! You don't fucking... argh.
