FANDOMS
Once Upon a Time
Hook/Bae. I don’t know if we have a canon age for Bae when he is in Neverland, but I think his actor is like 14. Either way, please write him as being 16 or just…don’t make an explicit age statement. As long as I can plausibly age him up to 16 in my head while reading, it should be fine. If reciprocated romantic or sexual things don’t happen until he’s older (ie: until he’s Neal) then age isn’t an issue. Primarily, what I like about the Hook/Bae relationship when Bae is still a teen is the offset in the power dynamic created by the age difference. I would love some UST between them during that time, maybe some unrequited (on the surface) feelings from Bae’s end and Killian being all protective of him. On the other hand I would love some intense UST with resolution after they meet again when Bae is all grown up. I’d totally squee if Killian refuses to call him “Neal” rather than Bae and them working out their “issues.” You don’t have to completely ignore what Emma had canonically with either man, but I’m not interested in her, so just…leave her out. I don’t even need a whole long explanation of why she’s out of the picture, after all, people move on. Honestly, I think I just want fluff and/or hurt/comfort and/or angst. I want protective!Killian and adorable!Bae. Yea, something like that.
Hook/Charming. God, this show’s “true love” theme makes it so hard to slash people who are already in relationships. Especially since I like Mary Margaret. But anyway! Would love-love a fic set in Neverland. Charming and his wife are estranged/fighting, everything is desperate, etc - perfect angst setting! I’m not 100 percent sure what I’m looking for. UST I guess. Love/hate sort of dynamic like “I hate you but I’m kinda super into you as well.” HURT/COMFORT would just completely make my day, especially given the perfect canon set-up with the Nightshade and everything.
The Americans
Stan/Philip. This could be so gloriously angsty and screwed up! I see a few scenarios for this. 1) Philip and Stan just “bonding” more and stuff that comes out of that, without involving any of the spy stuff really. 2) Like the above but the reason for this is because Philip wants to get a feel on what the FBI is doing/want to turn Stan into an (unsuspecting) agent. Then the whole spy thing comes out and…well the fallout from that. 3) Like the first one (or two), except the FBI find out about Philip and Elizabeth after Stan and Philip get a thing going. And all the fall out from that. My only request is that Stan doesn’t end up being a traitor (consciously, not like in the exploited-without-knowing it sense) and that if a side has to “win” it’s the (real) Americans. Elizabeth can die/be dead for all I care; honestly I’d rather she be kept out of the picture as much as possible/probable for whatever plotline you choose.
Harry Potter
Remus/Evan. I think what I like the most about this paring is the possibilities and impossibilities that it presents. Different houses, backgrounds, ideologies etc and to see how that can work together would be wonderful. I suppose it would start as an accident of some sort or perhaps a bet or a set up or something and then evolve into something more. I think both of them are too dedicated to their respective causes to ever switch sides which, I suppose, would preclude a happy ending but I think that's the beauty of this paring - it can be so deliciously psychologically messed up and complicated. It's all about war and hate and desire. It helps that I really like both of these characters.
Evan/Severus. I love the angst potential here. I wouldn’t mind fluff either, though, if you want. I would love to see these two during the First War, perhaps a progression of their relationship. I would seriously like this to be mutual. You don’t have to ignore canon/Lily, I’m all for Severus/Lily, but once she’s out of the picture, I would love to see Sev having a fulfilling relationship with Evan. Oh, yes, hurt/comfort is your friend :D That being said, how does Sev’s betrayal fit into this? How does that effect him emotionally - knowing you’re betraying your friends and your lover? Does Evan have suspicions? And if he does but can’t bring himself to tell/confront Sev - oh the glorious angst! Lol. I wouldn’t mind seeing Sev’s reaction to Evan’s death.
Antonin/Draco. Given the age difference, It would be cool if Antonin was around Lucius’ age (or in that generation, rather than, say Riddle’s). I kind of see this as a more UST thing, but resolution would be nice too. I would enjoy seeing a sort of protector/protectee or mentor/mentee relationship develop here. My headcanon for Antonin is that he is a high ranking officer within the DEs and has quite a bit of authority there, so some kind of expansion into that and Draco’s view on it would be interesting. War!romance stuff is always fun too, angst, confusion, doing the wrong things for the right reasons…
War and Peace
Dolokhov/Anatole. I adore them together. I think Theodore really does love the boy SO MUCH. He obviously tries to take care of him in his own way (see scene where Theodore tries to talk Anatole out of running away with Natasha). And canon even says that Anatole “genuinely loves” Dolokhov :D You could do anything with them! Happy, fluffy summertime fic. Banter, first time, UST (especially at a ball ;) ), friendship-turned-more, drunk fooling around - it all works! As does mushy hurt/comfort. As does awfully angsty war!fic. How does Theodore take Anatole’s death at Borodino? What about that whole Anatole/Natasha thing? How does that fit in? Not to say that their relationship has to be flawless. With someone like Theodore it’s never going to be. I’m sure there would be plenty of jealousy and cheating and hurting each other (probably unintentional on Anatole’s end and intentional on Dolokhov’s). There’s just so much chemistry between them! Can you tell how excited I am? Just do whatever you think fits and I’ll be falling over with squealing delight.
Pierre/Anatole. I especially like the idea of this being a start-of-book or pre-book paring. Maybe they got together in Paris during Pierre’s time at University? They’re both just such boyish sweethearts (Pierre changes but he starts like that, at least!). I can also imagine a Pierre/Anatole/Dolokhov (not necessarily in that order) triangle. You could play an Anatole/Pierre/Andrei Bolkonski triangle if you want, but in this case I would like to see Pierre being pretty torn over the whole thing. Post-war angst and regret is always a go. (I actually had this AU thought a little while ago - what if Dolokhov puts Anatole in Pierre’s care after Borodino and Pierre takes him away from Moscow after evacuation and feel like he has to take care of Anatole and Anatole lives and they kind of…bond and end up bridging their differences and stuff and…yea.)
Dolokhov/Nikolai. This was actually the first paring I shipped in this fandom. They’re very cute, I think. I’d love to see a scene from that summer they spent together in Moscow after the duel when Nikolai’s family is out in the country. Or maybe a post-duel hurt/comfort fic? Throwing someone like Dolokhov into a situation where he’s hurt and vulnerable can be so interesting. Or Nikolai’s reaction to the card game? Why such a “messy” break-up? (We know in canon it’s Sonya but was it really?)
Dolokhov/Petya. This is canon. No really, see Book 14, Chapter 9 :) The whole French Camp Expedition episode is SO intense and sparks are flying all over the place. Petya’s hopelessly in love if you ask me. And Dolokhov is uncharacteristically gentle with him. I…don’t have actual prompts :/ An AU where Petya survives? Or maybe Petya had met Dolokhov back in Moscow when he was still friends with Nikolai and developed and un-requited teenage crush? (For reference, at the time of the French Camp episode, Petya is 16.)
