A bunch of wonderful Yuletide fic recs. For those of you into good fics in rare fandoms, here you go:
First of all, I want to mention my wonderful gift-fic, All the Wine a very fun Eugene Onegin fic with lovely time period details.
Also, my Madness gift! Brideshead Revisited fic, Beef Tea, is like the cutest most adorable thing I’ve read in a LONG time! I’m a junky for hurt/comfort and this is just… *incoherent squeeling*

Brideshead Revisited
Gillyflowers -- because there is NOTHING bad about Charles/Sebastian in the first place. But this goes beyond that. The language is amazing and the emotion is raw and honest. Beautiful fic that will sed fans into squees of delight and will bring great aesthetic joy to even those who are not familiar with the fandom.
Crime and Punishment
The Road to Hell -- a fic that is true to the source containing both philosophical/theological arguments and emotional pathos
Cyrano de Bergerac
Body and Soul -- POVs of the main trio, wonderfully written with insight and depth
Historical RPF
I Am Now Fixed To Your Fate -- George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette and their adorable father-son relationship. (note to slashers: you won’t be disappointed either ;) )
Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet
As Garlic Cloves and Butter -- because Mercutio, Benvolio, and Romeo are one of those irresistible trios. The fic retains the Shakespeare spirit within a solid prose and well… the relationship between these three is just hilarious and an all around feel-good thing.
Boy Meets World
The Christmas Triangle -- Polyamorous and every in tune with the show. Characterization is awesome, btw,
Fairytales
A Hundred Years To A Steadfast Heart Are But A Day -- Haunting and an amazing modern take on Beauty and the Beast and Snow White. Maybe I’m just biased toward modern retellings :p
Anthropomorfic
Rough - I don’t even know how to describe this. Get Unfulfilled Requests and Upload fight over space…there’s breaking up and getting back together and it’s all so close to the heart of things :D

Put To Peace By His Noodly Appendage -- giggle worthy and a “full cast” from the blogosphere.
The Great Gatsby
Memorial -- Poignant, canon tight, Nick/Jay. No actual boy!love but its even more bittersweet for lack of it.

Frost - a lovely little peace with enchanting winter imagery that reflects the narrtor’s regret for what was and is no longer…
