Welcome home.
So I chewed on it a bit and I decide -- yup, I'm coming back to you livejournal land.
There was simply just something fufulling pulling up the website and seeing that it was relatively unchanged. It just works so well for what it is.
I tried out tumblr. It worked for a bit. However, I really hated the communication aspect of it. I wanted to make friends and it was simply too difficult. You could comment only if they had the right theme and then you'd have to stalk the page. Or you could leave a question and they could answer it. I don't know. It struck me as stupidly difficult to have a conversation. That's what I want from my online journal -- some one to talk about it with me. Why else would I post it on the web?
So I went a purged all my personal information. Now that I'm a ~working professional~ I don't want what I say on the internet to get back to me.
I've been craving a journal for a long time. I don't know why this didn't occur to me.
Now for the fun part... new icons!
