Random Thoughts
Ok, so I'm bored. So this is another one of my famous "Random Thoughts" posts.
First of all, I have finally found a makeup that I love and will stick with. It's Maybelline Superstay Silky foundation. I have tried Cover Girl, Revlon Color Stay, and Rimmel. They all had their good points and bad points, but I was looking for something that would stay on longer than Cover Girl, not as heavy feeling as Revlon, and not smudge off as easy as Rimmel. So while in the BX the other day, I was looking over some different things and finally decided on the Maybelline. I *love* it! It stays on, it's light on my face and it's REALLY smooth and silky. (Ok, I'm starting to sound like a commercial.)
On to another subject. I've started a Smoky Mountains messageboard. There's not too many out there aside from Myspace groups and Live Journal communities, so I figured, why not? Of course, right now there's only two registered members, so who knows if and when it'll really get going. I'm hoping it will though, because that's one of my favorite subjects to talk about! Why does Australia's Next Top Model look like a low-budget version of America's Next Top Model? I've only caught snippets of it here and there, but I've seen most all of the cycles of America's NTM and the two don't really compare. Of course, maybe they're not MEANT to be compared, but Australia's NTM just looks cheaply done. Just my opinion.
I want Rhonda Vincent's album "All American Bluegrass Girl" (I think that's the name of it). There's a song on there she does with Dolly and I LOVE it. I'm listening to it right now via Myspace music. It makes me want to dance, and I haven't clogged in YEARS, and my interest in it hasn't really been all that strong like it was back then. But there's something about her music.....
I have a cd single of hers with two of her songs. I need to dig that out of the massive collection of cds we have here.
Tracy Lawrence has a new cd out! How did I not know about this before? It came out in January. I must get my hands on it! He's always been my fav. country singer, right up there with George Strait.
I made a St. Patrick's Day tree. I decided that this year I would use our small Christmas tree to decorate different each month. I started in February (since I still had the Christmas stuff up in January) with a Valentine's Day tree, and now I have a St. Patrick's Day tree. Next month will be Easter. I've always said that I wanted to do this, now I'm finally doing it. They're so cute. I have a picture of the Vday tree on my slideshow on Myspace. I need to add the St. Patrick's Day one. Maybe I'll do that now.
