so tommorow i have to sit through an entire day of orientation at cogswell. there will be plenty of people fresh out of high school ready for that fresh college experience to take their youth away. i give them about a year or two. i just want to start taking classes, and not have to sit through any bullshit introduction to the school and how to study and what is tome come and blah blah blah.

i hope they dont do any of those group "get to know you" excersies. i hate those. ive always hated those. whos with me?!

so i got "kick out the jams" by mc5 yesterday, and have deduced that 1968 and 1969 were the two pivotal years of live records in the history of rock music.

woodstock
the who: live at leads
jimmi hendrix at the isle of wight
pink floyd's ummagumma live album
altamont
kick out the jams
big brother and the holding company at the fillmore west
jimmy smith's root down album
the beatles performance on the roof of abby road studios

im sure there are some that ive missed.

blah.

cogswell tommorow. all day. 9:30 to 5. i have to go to work at 5. im gonna try to duck out of orientation early.
(yes yoda, do or do not. there is no try)
im GOING to duck out of orientation erly.

and apparently 2005 didnt suck for live performances either
see the evidence below

this picture say "put the ring on my finger"
