Les Diaboliques (1955)
I suppose this could be considered my first film noir francais.I don't know if this was the first time that plot twist was used, but the movie wasn't particularly exciting when only half way through I already could see exactly what the suspenseful and mysterious conclusion would be. This was probably brilliant in its time, but it's a twist that has been used too many times since.
