Frail
Autumn pink swirls into your greying eyes
The look echoing agony in your tears
As you see the world pass in crimson circles
Watching your breathless form shudder beneath you
As you saw the world die with you.
The sound of the world hits you hard
A quaking heartbeat thunder deafening you
The screaming of a world gone silent
The grating noise of your own life
As you heard the world die along you.
The taste of hate mingled with blood
A kiss of all the pain runs in your viens
Running your tongue over the edge of your dreams
Swallowing your dreams and fears made agony
As you savoured the world dying within you.
The scent of what you could have done differently
As you inhale a world build up from dust
It is the perfume ofthe knowledge of the end
It must be the aroma of your paper roses
As you smell the world dying because of you.
The touch of your final dying heartbeat
How it drove decay over your frail fingertips
And you felt the world slip away in the air
Holding onto your life one final time
As you stroke the world dying to leave you.
