American Idol - Top 7 Redux
Allison looks ready for disco getting down! I fear this will be scary.
Lil - "I'm Every Woman" - she got off to a bad start, but she really can belt. She really sounds out of tune to me. What happened to you Lil? I used to think you were most awesome. Now I don't. This makes me sad.
Kris - "She Works Hard for The Money" - OH! I like this. Neat. He is really growing on me and this performance is making me smile. I am getting a Dave Matthews kind of vibe from him tonight and that is okay with me. Thumbs up.
Danny - "September" - He is so freaking bouncy and really very adorable but this is not really working for me. Interesting how he was a top contender at the beginning for me but now not so much. However, Vince Neil just clapped for him. It just seems wrong that Vince Neil is in the AI audience. Laughing forever about that.
Allison - "Hot Stuff" _ I love her. First thought awesome. I just love her rocking voice. Yay, Allison.
Adam - "If I Can't Have You" - I just love his voice. Nice change-up from the original but it is a bit too drawn out and histrionic for me. Hmm. Not sure about this. The judges will likely love it. Yep, they loved it. Simon cracked me up - he wasn't quite feeling the pain.
Matt - "Stayin' Alive" - You could dance to his version. I am digging it. I really like him tonight. Groovy. And much better than Danny. So there.
Anoop - "Dim All the Lights" - He's lovely - he has a really nice voice and I LOVE him when he sings a ballad. Tonight was not working for me. Bummer. Plus a bad note at the end. Oh, no!
From the performances tonight I would send Lil and Anoop home. Who I want to go home? Lil and Danny. And now I need to go vote for Matt and Allison and Anoop. Must save them, the others can fend for themselves.
