No comments necessary....Medical stuff to remember
This entry is more for my reference than anything else but, I thought maybe some of yas were bored enough to read about my medical issues...It simply cronicles these events so that in the future, I can find out when stuff happned...
Its now Saturday night ...Tuesday daytime, I noticed that I had what seemed like a pimple or ingrown hair or somethin goin on on my forehead above my right eye. By Wednesday night, It was pretty painful, not to mention that it had gotten to be the size of a marble.. Thursday morning, it was swollen...it had my right eye just about swollen shut....Panic set in, and I went to the ER at the hospital....They looked at it and didnt really seem too concerned and that it looked like a skin infection and gave me antibiotics and sent me home...
OH, and I forgot to tell that Saturday, I was due to go away for vacation for a week... Friday, it was kinda grotesgue looking and I decided to go to my family doc as a walk in and see if she could help me out... she drained it and told me it was a sebaceous cyst that is infected...okay, bump down, pain relieved, looking promising for going away on vacay without that bump on my head and the swelling on my face....
WRONG!!!!!!
This morning, (saturday) the swelling around my eye was worse than it had ever been during this stuff....I called my family Doc and he said I should go to the ER again cuz, when theres infection around your eyes, theres not much protection between the infection and your brain..
Long story short.....The ER doc looked and said that I was going to be pefectly good in a day or two....I was just assuming the antibiotics would work a little faster than they actually do....Oh, and when I was laying down during sleep, that gravity was working against me because the fluid had no place to go...it kinda "puddled" around my eyes....
So, like I said, its now Saturday night and I'm goin to bed soon.....I'm due to drive down and meet my Family at the house we rented for the week early tomorrow morning....They left today but I was not comfortable going today and being 250 miles or so from my docs or hospital with a swollen face...
The swellings pretty much all gone so, I guess I'll cyas after vacay!!! ( thats if anyone got this far)...
