Someone asked, so here it is...
Nothing's new really.....Seems like every week is the same ol'.....although.....
Yesterday, Lilben and his g/f and myself went to the auto show in Philly. They drove here and from here we took the EL into town. Usually, there's something out of the ordinary to tell about the EL ride but, yesterdays was un-eventful.. The show was kool if you like to look at cars. After about 3 hours of walking around though, we were ready to get goin'...Our feet were hurtin and we actually couldnt wait to sit on the EL for the ride back to my place.
Cindy had a mexican themed dinner with tacos and burritos and such. It was Lilben's request to have some ppl over for his belated B-day dinner.
It's the coldest stretch of weather we've had here this winter. It's 9 degrees here this morning, with the winds blowin' at 20-25 mph..I absolutely HATE the cold, and I'm procrastinating going out to work at this minute!.. I dont even have to work outside but, it's just the idea of going out and getting in my car, and then waiting for those long minutes till the thing starts to give some heat...and, I'm sure I'll see ppl on my way to work who actually HAVE to be outside workin'...ewwww..I'm glad I'm not one of them...
Saturday afternoons these days have been spent at the shop where Lilben works. He's decided NOT to bail out of the CRX project. However, we're at a point now where it's time to mock-up all the stuff in the engine bay...and that means its now time to have our new parts available..Most of that shit costs pretty big bucks and at times, were waiting to get the money together to get them...The only consolation now is that the car is beginning to take shape and the remote thought of how it will look and run when its finished is giving us the ambition we need. After all the stuff is mocked-up, we have to take it alll out..motor, transmission, and all the stuff in the engine bay...then, it's time for painting in there and re-assembly for good...( I can see where my spring vacation is gonna be spent...In that engine bay...making it alll nice and shiny with the new paint color )
Okay, I guess I better get my multi-layered clothes on and get to work...looks like I'll be a lil late today but, I really dont care. Ill juss have to stay a lil later this afternoon...
