Hey there! It's been almost six months since I left Australia, and my adventuring has taken me far.. I've been fairly settled down here in Chertsey the last four months though. I am like the completist catastrophe waitress! It's taken me the last four months to gain any skills, but I can now carry three plates at once! And my secret waitressing skill is my abilty to carry numerous things in numerous places. Err what!?
Enough. After our adventures around Europe we spent almost 3 weeks in Scotland, such a wonderful place, I just loved it - everything. I had so much fun in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness. I look forward to going back.
I definately reccomend it to anyone who has ever thought once about going there. And I even ate haggis! (It tastes like sausages!)
Since being in England we haven't done that much sight seeing as I am a lazy git. We went to Legoland in Windsor, that was such a mad, fun day. We played legoish adventures all day and believed that we were 5 again!, ate ice cream, got sun burnt, and legoland fire fighter licences!!!
We went to Reading music festival, but that requires it's own entry. <33333333
Had a nice birthday too, had my sister and Keith down for dinner. Have run out of cakes now, alas. *woe*
And! The last two days I spent "on holiday". We went into London the first day, visited Camden town, and the massive top shop, before going out to see a show - Blood brothers, 'twas brilliant; I laughed and cried. That's how I can tell something is good. And why neighbours is my favourite television show.. (I started a Neighbours fan club!!)
And then yesterday we went on a tour of Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor castle. There was a lot of driving, but one of my favourite things ever is sleeping on public transport. I enjoyed each of the places, it was a quite good tour. Would have liked to spend a bit more time in Stonehenge really. The weather was really gloomy and mysterious and went well with the surroundings. Just so earie and cool.
The Roman baths were very interesting, and Bath was beautiful, I'd like to walk around that town a bit more. And Windsor is very nice too. Walking around castles always makes me tired though! There are so many nice chairs and none to sit on! :P
Okay. Will write again in another 6 months or so... just kidding! Love you all.
