Well, I'm back from Sydney. Maximo Park were very impressive, especially Paul's scissor kicks. I'm very impressed. Cause damn - those pants were tight!
In a totally good way, of course ;)
I liked the venue. The support were very loud, and not all that catchy - except for the friction song. But I danced about nonetheless. It was fun. The crowd were great with exception of the guy who kept shouting out "Sunderland Sunderland Sunderland". I don't really care about where people are from. More, who they are, what they care about, etc.
They did a nice sized set - most of A Certain Trigger, and about 4 new ones, I liked the one they did for Warchild the best. There was a bit of a love fest - no not that kind of love fest, a mutual appretiation of crowd and band. It was beautiful.
Paul fell down the stairs the night before. And could have wrote The Night I Lost My Head again. I'm very impressed by his recovery. I would be dead.
He is very impressive. He has 10 times the personality I do. And actually emotes. So much love.
Anyway they were great, gracious, and no doubt will be back soon. YAYE! :)
In other musical news I got YCHISMB and I love it. LOVE! <333
I am paranoid about my Franz tickets though, they weren't on my credit card statement, but ticketmaster said they had been printed. I don't know what to do. :/
