It only took how many years to get a doctor to figure it out.
Last week my boss walked me down to one of the MD offices and said make an appointment. Apparently my hospital is finally getting an ENDO.
OH MY GOD I LOVE HIM. He sat in the room with me for about an hour. Before he even talked to me he made a graph based on my labs to help explain why all my labs are out of wack.
1. He said my insulin level is the second highest he has EVER seen. Normal is 2-25. Mine is 227 YIKES!!!!!!!
2. He said that only 12 % of girls who have PCOS also have a condition called CAH (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) But he said he is 80% sure I have this, in which I took the blood work today to find out for sure.
3. I have a lot of meds I now have to take everyday, but he said take a picture of myself now cause in a year my dark hair all over my body will most likely be gone. and I will start losing weight now (Ive heard that one before)
3a. One of the meds is a Cancer med. Kind of scary.
another reason I love this doctor is he was like, oh you will probably get the labs back faster then I do since you work here at the hospital, just text message me your results and Ill let you know if you can start the meds.
