(no subject)
Ok. No updates for over a month. whoops =). When I haven't been updating it's really hard to start back up (unless I need to vent about something). What to say? I've been on the Cape for basically the entire summer...with visits home when nescessary. I think that not being around them this summer is a very very good thing. They are much nicer to me when i'm at home, it's nice. PLus my mother has already gotten anal about college stuff. Endless lists and SAT class brochures and ahhh. She yelled at me the other day for not being "interested" since I havent read the applications blah blah. At least the grandparents dont bitch at me. Although everyone being nice and getting along and all that has gotten kind of exausting. I don't miss home very much...but I do really miss my friends. I feel like they are all slipping away from me because i'm not there to hang out and talk to and all that. Hopefully everything will go back to normal once school starts. (Friends wise...not everything else). Anyone that wants to come visit is welcome, there is always somewhere for you =)...as long as you can get yourself here. I'm coming home tomorrow but will have basically no free time at all. Tomorrow night I have to go to some family friends thing, then Saturday is katie's Bat Mitzvah, and in between service and party i'm shopping with mom. Then back here on Sunday. Anyway, life isnt bad here. Good money, plus tips from people, and the officey stuff is actually kind of interesting. Regardless, I miss people. Liv has visit me twice, Colby once. Liv came up for the Harry Potter release and we had the most fun I've had in a long time. I forget how easy it is to have fun with her. We had a weekend of basically being 5 year olds. On the way to the book store we stopped to play bumper cars, but there was no one else there so we were basically just slamming into each other. We went paddle boating earlier that day (i think it was the same day...), went to the bookstore and got sick on harry potter tatoos and harry potter glasses, and then made wands and "picture frames" at the craft tables with all the 5 year olds. Then we went to Debbies petland and held a puppy. Wow that was a random tangent. Then colby came a few days ago. He had come before but that was during vaca and with my mom and brother also here. I was interested to see what their rules or whatever would be. Suprisingly there werent any. "stay out as late as you want as long as you are in the kitchen ready to serve by 8 in the morning". She even like gave us money to go see a movie in hyannis at like 10 one night. It was bizarre. It was gross out when he came tho so we couldnt go to the beach =(. Which is basically where I have spent most of my free time on nice days....so i now look a little like i'm puerto rican. My grandma says I look Florentine and then proceeded to tell me our family history about relatives in Florence. ok i'm bored with this, ill go watch a movie. (btw another thing I miss soo badly=tivo. I dont understand how people can live with this regular TV crap. What do you do when there is nothing on that you want to watch? Its so frusturating.) much love ~allee
