It's been a very long week for most of us, hasn't it? Many things have happened between these seven to nine days. It's interesting to see how everyone recovers from it. There are different transitions, different defense mechanisms to how everyone will bring themselves from their own pain and grief. In the end, they still have friends to help pull them through that, to support them, even if they might deny it. As they say -- it's the thought that counts, right? You might not think it has no effect, but it does.
But that comes to time.
Time, by order, shall bring death and destruction. As the end comes, Kronus will reap what has been sowed, to clear away and devour everything. Time is nothing but all devouring, and neither has it been forgiving and gentle to any of us. Death is a natural transition of life, however. It is inevitable, destined, and yet, in a sad way, it reminds us of our duties. There are periods, I like to think, in the weeks, maybe even months, where there might be an event in our life - good or bad - that passes through.
As it dies out, need you be reminded of something.
The death of a period of time, also means beginnings. The function of the Death Arcana in the tarot deck represents death to something - a switch of jobs, whatever it may be - it also means new beginnings. This is, in a sense, a new beginning. Killers and people with murderous intentions shall be caught, after a period of terror, and those who have suffered from them are left to a new beginning.
Another birth of a period of time. It is what we make of it, we can view it is as something positive, or something negative. No, not everyone shall, not everyone will embrace something new with open arms, but in order to move along with the new harvest, rather than to be left behind in it, we have to sow again, before Kronus lays his blade to reap again.
So, I wonder... after everything. How will all of you accept time?
I may be a child, but I have high hopes for you. Despite horrible misgivings and pain inflicted upon us, each of us keep going, ready to face the birth of a new day. You mustn't give up. Not ever.
