Things I absolutely loved in this episode: Nino dressed in cheongsam and maid outfit. Taro and Takuya's friendship starts!<33 I capped almost twice as much than first episode with 326 caps! Capping is going to give me carpel tunnel one of these days!
The episode starts with Takuya dropping by Taro's house for a visit and he even brought a box of pastries. He said that it was his first time ever doing something like this. :) There's wave exchange outside the door was so cute!
Taro invites Takuya inside and while sitting the little kids starts getting curious about the bag Takuya is holding. I guess the kids have noses like bloodhound just like their An-chan. :P As the kids fight over the pastries Taro comments that they should thank Takuya for them but just then Taro is surprised at how yummy the pastries are and joins in. They all play jan-ken-pon to see who gets the pastries. :) Meanwhile, Taro's mom offers Takuya some homemade tea from flowers in their backyard. As expected the tea doesn't taste very good and everyone laughs.
Fangirl moment: Sho looks so pretty in this dorama *swoons*
Once at home Takuya is once again arranging flowers(is that all he does at home?^^) and this time he's listening to AC/DC's Highway to Hell(Ah I totally missed what song it was because i was laughing so hard!). LMAO! Dancing and arranging flowers...XD
Back at school Taro and Takuya are becoming quite a pair. As they were in the cafeteria all the girls surround them and oggle. Takako's imagination once again runs wild and she pictures them as princes. They are wondering what Taro and Takuya must be talking about and Takako imagines them talking about going fox hunting. In reality, Taro is telling Takuya that after school he's going to supermarket sale for cheap pumpkins. :P
Meanwhile as Taro's little brother is walking home from school he came across a baseball field and was asked to throw back a ball. He threw it very fast ball and everyone was amazed that they asked him to join the team. Unfortunately the cost of joining would be 27,000Yen ($221.47). Taro's little brother declines the coach and leaves the field. Just then Taro and his other siblings comes over to walk home together. As they were walking however the coach stops Taro to tell him about consider letting his brother join baseball team. Taro knowing that his little brother really wants to join starts to think of ways to get enough money for it.
Takuya is once again at home arranging flowers and this time he is very happy with the result. He asks Isogai if he should show it to his grandfather. Isogai thought it was brilliant idea and goes to ask Takuya's grandfather if he would like to see it but he declines. He says that flowers don't tell lies and flower arrangement shows a person true character. He says that Takuya's flower arrangement is probably filled with superficial flowesr and those flowers are weeping so there is no need for him to see it. Poor Takuya :(
Back at school Taro is holding the folder of the baseball club and worrying on how he would get the money to afford this. Takyua comments he is envious that Taro's siblings has an older brother that worries about them like that. Perhaps this is one of the reasons Takuya is so interested in Taro. Taro has totally different life from Takuya. Taro strives to provide for his family while Takuya lacks a family and does not have to at all worry about money. Takuya then asks Taro how much money he needs and he can lend him the money. Taro at first jumps at the idea but then remembers that one of their family commandments is "One should not borrow money because it cannot be paid back". Taro then thinks what good part time job is out there and Takuya offers Taro a job at his house. :P Taro rides home with Takuya and Takuya tells him that he will be a house maid for 3 days and he will receive 50,000 yen($410.48). Taro is ecstatic at the amount of money and he plans to buy his little brother a baseball glove with the extra money. However, there is one condition is that Takuya's family only hires female maids! XD
Here comes the reaction of seeing Taro in maid outfit.. ^_^
He looks so pretty! Look at the shiny lip gloss. :) Poor Nino I read that he complained on his nikki how he had shaving his legs for this episode. Nino hates cosplay. :P
The only problem with Taro working at Takuya's house is that he may be caught by Takuya's grandfather and if he does he will not get the money for his work. As Takuya's grandfather arrives home and all the maids line up to greet him. He walks by but then he notices that he has not seen Taro before. He asks Taro for his name and says you look just like a man. XD Taro then drops to the floor and pretends to cry. Isogai then comments that he shouldn't say that to a young girl and they walk away. All the while Takuya is behind a wall watching it and smiling. So cute!
Taro starts cleaning and doing chores with the other maids. Here starts the maid musical without the singing. :P Takuya is once again watching near by. :)
All the maids start dusting in Takuya's grandfather's room and he starts to remember his late wife. He walks over to ask Taro(Tamiko) if she is Takuya's girlfriend. XD Takuya hiding behind the wall laughs at his grandfather's question. :)
Back at Takuya's room Taro is relieved that he made it through the first day. Taro spotted Takuya's flower arrangement and asks if he can give it a try too. Takuya says sure and that it's not that exciting. However, as Taro arranges Takuya smiles. :) So much cuteness!
On Taro's way home he notices his little brother admiring a baseball glove outside a shop. :(
In class the next day Takako notices Taro's light pink nail polish and wonders if Taro has a cosplay fetish! Nino looking pretty in cheongsam! :D
As class was to end Taro rushes out to apply some makeup and get to Takuya's house. Takako wonders why Taro always rushes home once school is over and ends up following him to Takuya's house. While she was standing there Takuya arrives home and invites her to work for his house too. I love his sneaky plan smile. :D
As Takako sees Taro dressed in maid outfit they scream. :P Takako is confused at why Taro would be working for Takuya and believes that he is working to get commoner's experience. ^^ Takuya however is amused and laughs at the door. He says that they can form an alliance so that Taro wouldn't get caught. Taro asked for Takako's help and once again is very close to her face. She is in awe of his shiny eyes and of course agrees. :) Just then Takuya's grandfather asks Taro to make dinner.
In the kitchen Takako and Taro are wondering that they could possibly make that would be suitable for old rich man. Taro got the idea that they should make things that are like a mother's cooking that would remind him of his childhood.
Taro is making a Tamagokai! (I learned how to make this last week! It's fun and bit hard the same time. It's very yummy or as Ohno would say MECHA UMAI XD).
Takako is amazed at Taro's "her prince" cooking and gave him 3 stars. (I'm actually not sure if I like Takako. She is cute but slightly annoying too. I love her vivid imagination though. Thankfully there isn't that many scenes of her.)
They also made rice balls<3 and some other side dishes. Takuya's grandfather commented that it was delicious. Here comes lots of loving looks from Takuya to Taro. <3 Swear they at the OTP in this drama not Takako and Taro. :P
LOL
It's love..
Too pretty not to show..
Back at the kitchen Takako and Taro are enjoying the leftovers. Takuya comes in and is wondering why they are eating leftovers. Taro says that leftovers are still good as long as you fix it up. He then tells Takuya that his household is way to wasteful and Takuya apologizes. :) Takuya and Taro high five for good days work. Taro then high fives Takako and smiles. Takako seeing that smile of his gets weak in the knees. Lucky her to have them support her. :)
Just then Takuya's grandfather asks Taro into his room. He says that he is aware that Taro is an Ichinomiya student and being female she should be good at flower arrangement. He wishes to see Taro's flower arrangement it will be his(her) last task. Taro of course agrees so that his cover will no blow. Getting back to the maid area he wonders what should he do. He asks Takako if she can help him but she too isn't familiar with flower arrangement. She said she was more familiar with tea ceremonies. They then both think of how tea club at school would have lots of free tea and snacks. :P
Taro runs to Takuya for help but he said knowing his grandfather saying that flowers do not lie he is unable to help Taro. Takuya instead offers his flower arrangement area for him to use. Taro looking the area notices all the flower on ground and thinks of what a waste it is. He brings to Takuya's grandfather a cup with water and one flower. Takuya's grandfather in seeing this says that he always believed that flowers does not tell lies and that flower arrangement is like a mirror that reflects people. Then he says that the flower has told him that the person that has arranged that flower is magnificent girl. :)He was once reminded of his late wife who too did the same thing with the flowers you threw out when he was arranging flowers. He said the way the flower was presented shows off Taro's honest character. He further says that Takuya has found a good girlfriend. :P He tells Taro that she is welcome to come play whenever she feels like it because it would soon be her home as well, lol. :P He then offers her pay and he said he put in a bit than promised.
However, when Taro went into the male bathroom Takuya's grandfather came in and caught him! Taro told him that he needed a part time job no matter what and Takuya just wanted to help him. Takuya's grandfather then asks if Isogai was in this too. Isogai explained that he knew of it but he allowed it because he missed Takuya's smile whenever he thought of a prank. He believed that Takuya's plan was to play with his grandfather like he did as when he was young. Not having much choice Takuya agreed. Taro was shocked thinking he had to dress like a maid just because they wanted to play. At this Takuya's grandfather laughed and told Taro to take the money for his hard work. Takuya's grandfather comments that Taro is sure an interesting boy and says will Takuya show him his flower arrangement too!! YAY!
Taro was able to buy his little brother the glove and for him to join the baseball team in time for the next match. :) His little brother wins the baseball match and while his teammates carry him he thanks Taro. Awww!
Promos:
Taro takes Takuya along for one of the supermarket sale battles! This should be very cute. They even run together to train for it. :) Takako decides to confess to Taro because she can't hold in her feelings anymore. *meep* Taro says that actually he has someone waiting for him...Takuya? XD
This was a fun episode especially due to Nino's cosplaying. I'm starting to wonder however if every episode would be Taro going out of his way get his siblings something they want. With 10 episodes left if they keep doing that it would get old very fast. Hopefully not :)
