all good things must come to an end...

Hana Yori Dango really felt like my first Japanese drama(Nodame Cantabile was my first) and the one that won me over. I can’t exactly remember why I started watching it but I saw season one around the time episode one of season two started. Right when I finished season one I was able to see season two. It was my first time seeing a drama as it just aired and waiting for subtitles. It was so exciting to look forward to it every week and squeeing with everyone. Thanks to Hanadan I also discovered MatsuJun and Oguri Shun. During the waiting period in between episodes I was able to see their other dramas all which I loved(Gouksen and Kimi Wa Petto). I think it was also the first time I have loved the whole cast of a drama. I actually read a lot of behind the scenes stuff and interviews of them. They are all really cute and funny. I really should have saved some of the interviews to share but if you want to read stuff like that it’s in lily’s jland blog. Oh, there’s one more thing Hanadan has brought me, Arashi(for dream ^^ lol). I tried my best to avoid boy bands since I went through that phase in middle school already with Nsync and Backstreet boys but week after week of listening to the theme song I got weak. I ended up downloading all 8 of their cds and it’s really cute upbeat poppy music. They really sound like 14 year old boys, lol. I think the best part of them is their hilarious chorography though. I don’t think there’s a video I’ve seem of them that hasn’t brought me to tears from laughing so hard. *Sigh* I can’t believe this is the end of Hanadan. It’s been a wonderful 10 weeks. They have sure kept me company for this whole winter quarter. I can’t wait to see MatsuJun’s Bambino and Shota’s Liar Game. I really think someone should give Oguri Shun lead role. Gah, he really deserves it!

I finally saw it. I was hesitant to start even now. I think this is the first time I've been so afraid to say goodbye. The rain scene didn't make me cry but i was teary this whole episode. I guess i'm just really emotional that it's over. I'm not going to really write commentary or do live blog since there's many of those. I'm sure they wrote better things than I could anyways. Instead I'm going to do a bit of review in caps just because I made so many. :P *sigh* This is will be my way of saying goodbye to wonderful Hanadan...

I made so many caps it filled up my whole screen, lol ^^ Okay, onto the real caps...

This scene was so heartbreaking.

RAWR! I really really dislike (*cough* really have foul words to say to her) Umi. I really don't get how she just feel in love with Domyoji. EHHH, even when she said sorry to Makino towards the end I couldn't forgive her. I really can't find anything about her that I like. She just makes my blood boil!

Our last scene of Rui sitting on his window seat. I've always loved all the scenes of him sitting there. Okay, I love all Rui scenes. :P

I was amazed at his nijia jumping skills, lol. I love the idea that it was his instinct to protect/rescue Makino. Awww...

If only we got to see the actual wedding! They look so cute. *sigh* I actually accidentally saw these pictures on lj and I really thought they got married. :P

So very Kdrama...

He really makes the silliest faces(more to come..). It was really cute how what got him to remember was how it was like the elevator scene. As I was watching I yelled, "OMG this is just like the elevator scene!" (Thankfully I have whole room to myself tonight so I didn't scare my roommates -especially with the on and off sobbing).

Kawaii!! They make me happier than a basket of bunnies.

LMAO!

"Sweat Honey" LMAO!! I love when The Great Domyoji makes mistakes. :D

He's just really adorable when he's with his sister. Just like a little boy :)

*sigh*

I love the stylist who decided to put Rui in an all white suit!! *dies*

He has one of the sweetest smiles I've ever seen. I just melt whenever he smiles. Even my mom thinks he has a great smile. :)

hehe this was just super cute.

His bundle of joy, lol. :P Did anyone think the crowd doing the wave was hilarious? lol

marry me please? ^^

SO CUTE!!

This scene made me laugh so hard!! LMAO "Are you going to marry my dad?" :P Hilarious!

Akira's family still creeps me out. He's really cute with his sisters though. It kind of sucks we didn't get any back story on him. I must say he must have really offended the stylists or something because they keep putting him in horrid flowery blouses.

*sigh* I love when Soujiro is on his motorcycle and the cherry blossoms coming down is so beautiful. It's so cute how he teased her. I'll like to think they got together since they are my favorite secondary couple. :)

Rui and his violin is love..

I wonder if giving away his violin is symbolic? He's usually plays the violin when he's sad so I'll like to think giving away his violin is like he's starting over and will find happiness. Rui is the best thing since sushi (lol I know the saying is sliced bread but sushi way better that sliced bread- i'm such a dork) and deserves happiness. :D

*dies*

LOL. This reminds me of Kdramas how the guys pull the girls' arm so hard looks like they're going to dislocate her shoulder.

*dies happy*
Oh one more..

LOL, just because he looks goofy.

Goodbye Hanadan. :( It has sure made me happy these 10 weeks! I think at this point even if there wasn't a season 3 I'm still happy. Of course, if there was a season 3 I would even be happier. ^^ I have lots to pack and clean up before I go home tonight. Hurray for finals being over and 1.5 weeks off of drama marathoning! Oh yes, it's MANWANG DAY!! I can't wait to see it! :D
