[ Personality ] :
Putting it simply, Priscilla entirely embodies the tragic princess stereotype. Her countenance is that of a lady, restrained and graceful, careful to fit into her position in high society. However she seems to suffer from a considerable amount of sadness a usually, plauged by her less-than-fortunate familial circumstances. However that isn't to say that she's an inconsiderate person as she demonstrates kindness and concern as well. Priscilla's character is rather balanced and stable, though it's likely only come to be that way with her own conscious effort.

So on the very surface, Priscilla is the essence of a fairy young lady. She does not smile too freely and remains rather subdued. Her patience is lasting and it is only on rare occasion that she loses her calm. Having been a part of two noble houses by now, it cannot be dnied that she has had a bit of exposure to the upper-class society and her manners have been cultivated as a result. Whatever her true feelings may be, she doesn't often get the chance to express them directly. This says a lot for Priscilla's ability to restrain herself when in the presence of others, even those who are rather loud in their affections towards her.

All the same, though Priscilla may be considered very agreeable, she's also quite certain of herself. Her brother attests that she had been that way all her life, quite demure until she got an idea in her head. Once she's made her mind up about something, she would not and will not budge. Even in as ridiculous a goal as searching for her long-lost brother when he could be anywhere on the continent, she remains steadfast. Not to mention when she encounters Eliwood's party and considers herself in their debt, she persists in tagging along even when she is clearly ill-suited for the battlefield.

On that note, its clear that while it may not be showcased in her words, Priscilla's heart does indeed override her head. She participates in the battle when the mere mental image of gore is actually capable of making her faint. It doesn't make the most sense but she sticks to it nonetheless, acting as a medic for everyone she can. Her desire to help people outweighs her concern for herself as she rides out to heal them even though it's hardly the type of place she should be in. So it's not the smartest combination with her worrywart tendencies as she insists upon healing even the smallest of wounds.

In addition, despite her gentle and graceful demeanor, she actually has a few childish and unladylike traits to her. In the far less flattering side of her personality, she harbors quite the jealous streak. Whether it be her jealousy towards her brother's relationship with his retainer or her bodyguard's relationship-of-sorts with his last employer (who happened to be a very pretty young girl), she can't help but feel ill at ease. She recognizes it to be a rather petty emotion at least, but she's not able to keep from feeling the way she does.

To be really specific, it's Priscilla's relationship with her brother that's particularly important. She's quite the brocon devoted sister... She cherishes the memories she had with him as a child and it was known to everyone in the house that the frail, sickly Miss Priscilla would always cling onto her dear Brother Raymond. In fact, she still clings to the memory of him giving her a ring and uttering a promise- though she claims to understand that it wouldn't be proper anymore. Uh-huh. Even when she moved and was adopted into another home, she still thought often of her original familiy. After hearing of the fall of House Cornwell, she went to find him no matter how slim the odds. Despite the years of separation, she still expressed a strong desire to be with him.

Those ten years actually largely shaped Priscilla's character. She says that without her original family, being so far from her no matter the reason, actually made her quite lonely. No matter who she ends up developing feelings for in the course of the game, she constantly expresses this fear of them leaving her. If they start to willingly avoid her, it hurts her more than anything else because she doesn't ever wish to be separated from them. She doesn't want to be lonely again and would go so far as to cry because the people dear to her may be gone again.

However it is not likely that anyone would be aware of these feelings until she's pushed over the brink, withdrawn as Priscilla is. Even as people point out her constant state of melancholia, she will admit that perhaps she is not feeling happy but would never explain the reason to anyone. So even the feelings of attachment are unspoken, but very potent. Since she exerts a considerable amount of control over her emotoins, she says to one, "you may not have noticed, but you have made me very happy." Her expressions are slight, but she truly does feel with all her heart.

Lastly, even though she is careful with how much of her feelings are shown, that isn't to say that she's emotionless. She is capable of showing good humor, proposing to keep a secret of a hungry wyvern stealing from the merchant's cart. Priscilla does possess a sense ofnse of humor and remains largely good-natured when interacting with others, if perhaps a bit restrained.

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] : Physically, Priscilla lacks any special capabilities. Really, the only thing she's capable of in that area is navigating her steed and managing to keep her balance upon the battlefield. However, her actual defense is horribly lacking, hardly a surprise considering her petite frame and total lack of armor. In addition to that, it was said that she was often ill as a child. Overall, she has a rather frail constitution.

The good part is that her actual abilities do not at all lie in physical strength and thusly are not hindered by her lack of it. She can wield staves for all their inteded purposes, whether that be healing, providing light, unlocking doors, or a minor form of teleportation- though this all depends on which stave she has in hand.

In terms of emotional and mental pros and cons, Priscilla's moderately impulsive and rather stubborn nature acts as a double-edged sword. While it may put her in physical danger, it is that same perseverance taht allows her to accomplish all her goals. Her concern and kindness allow her to win over others, but sometimes the careless harshness that comes with her jealousy also acts as a counterbalance.

[ Other Important Facts ] :
✴ Priscilla does have a horse that carries her around... just about everywhere. Yep.
✴ Priscilla's inventory at the moment consists of nothing but a vulnerary, a Mend stave, and a Healing stave.

[ Sample ] :
It certainly wasn't the best first impression to make, Priscilla thought sadly as she sheepishly stepped outside of the clothing store. Why, she couldn't remember the last time she had been so moritified! To approach the closest apparel shop in search of clothes, if only because the ones she was wearing were soaking wet and she was desperately in need of new ones. The kindly lady was generous enough to not even ask for payment after scrutinizing her a bit, undoubtedly feeling pity for the young girl.

If her family saw her now - oh, either of them! though she especially paled at the idea of her darling brother seeing her in such a state - she could only imagine what kind of scolding she would face. Certainly she hoped that this would not get out to anyone....

Though she did have to admit that there were slightly bigger issues at hand now, especially as she glanced upwards and saw nothing but blue. It wasn't the gentle blue of the sky, either. While it had been a very taxing time on that pirate ship, she distinctly remembered the blue of that water. The darker shade resting atop the barrier above her head implied that they were quite deep under.

The idea made her head spin. Underwater towns? And they were so advanced! Which territory could this place belong to? She hadn't even had the slightest clue. When she inquired and received word that the place was called "Vatheon", she had to again regrettably admit that she had never heard of such a place before quickly issuing a compliment that it was quite lovely.

Well... lovely besides the fact that she had no idea where she was.

New clothes was a start, she supposed. Turning this way and that, she had another issue at hand now. She distinctly remembered packing a spare change of attire (multiple, but she had to discard a few once she decided to join the army) and a number of her own staves for her journey. Of course, they couldn't rest upon her shoulders for that was unnecessary when her horse was often always present to hold all her necessities for her!

... except at this very moment, she lamented.
