OK - I just have to get this out because I think I’m the reasonable one, but maybe I’m really overreacting. I don’t want to be the kind of person that pushes my parenting views on someone else, but I’m having a lot of issues with this one.

Thanks for the compliment, but I don't deserve it. I'm far from the perfect mom, I know that, everyday I look in the mirror and say "ok, you didn't give enough attention/you were too short/too critical/too self-critical in front of her..." and try to remind myself to be better for her.
I sometimes feed B "baby junk" because I don't have time, last night she had panera mac&cheese for dinner (at least it's organic, and made with real cheese, right?). But every other meal, all 11 before it that week were wholesome & homemade. Most were made with local, organic, p-free ingredients too, but still, she had some crappy food and I'm OK with that. If shecwas starving, screaming and having a fit and the ONLY food available was spaghetti-o's you best believe she is eating them until she throws them in my face. It's just not something that I ever thought would have to be a daily consideration. That's my frustration. I get trying to find table foods your kid likes, I get the annoyance of them wanting things they are too small for (b is fascinated by shell fish & sushi), it's the excuses that massively bug me.
