Wow
The Relay for Life was sooooo much fun!! I met a lot of great new people, saw some really old friends that i havent seen in years, and just hung out with my great ole friends. First Mindy, Marissa, Andy and I went to get chinese first (all you can eat so we'd be full for the relay!) and then we headed to LHS. We got there early and decorated our T-shirts. They were really nice. Then we bought a luminarie (sp?) for Mr Shapiro and Mr Finn and decorated it...andy drew a penguin lol! The relay began, and the first walk was for the cancer survivors and caregivers. It was kind of sad/touching/emotional, yet very cool. Then I walked for two hours with marissa, sam, and kayla. they left, and i walked with andy a mindy for an hour. Marissa told me to rest, so i walked up to the school, looked at the little shops they had, and then went to hang out by the tents. We played uno attack, talked, laughed hysterically..."Shut up!" "Go walk!" hahahah. then Kim, andy, and I walked for like 4 hours, with a break or too. It was soo much fun...susie Q, african tribal trip, devil orbs, pop tarts, and sooo many more weird things that made us laugh due to lack of sleep! After we were like stumbling and could barely move. It got all cold and rainy, so we all made a collective decision to leave early. the place was empty. but i think we raised about $600 or so. It was a great time, with so many more funny inside jokes that i just forgot to mention! The only downside was that it got cold and uncomfortable, and i have a blister on my foot...
When i got home at 830, i took a shower, and then slept for 8 hours. now im here. well im gonna go. ttyl bye!
