Sky Diving!
ncsuj nudged me earlier in the week to let me know what I haven't updated my journal in six weeks! WOW! That is a long time. I guess I've lost the journaling mo-jo.
But I do need/want to post about my recent Vegas vacation... W00T! One of the highlights was meeting LJer js_vegas! He was at the country/western bar Charlie's one night we were there. One of my fellow Cowboys said, "There's some guy who knows you from online and wants to meet you." I assumed it was some guy from Manhunt. LOL! But it was John. His pics on here are not very clear, so I definitely wouldn't have recognized him. It was a little freaky for him to know so much about my life without having ever met him in person.... he admitted that he's read my "entire journal".... I guess that's what I get for putting it all online.
Of course, I was flattered and the exhibitionist in me loved it.... Plus, the fact that John was so cute helped things... I really wanted to eat him up right then and there, but after meeting his boyfriend Mike, I decided I should be respectful and not overstep any boundaries.... :)
John called later in the week and we tried to meet up... but it didn't work out. Hopefully our paths will cross again sometime...
At any rate... I need to do a full post on the entire trip... but here's the video of me SKYDIVING!!!!!! I paid the extra money for this 2:30 video shot by my tandem jump partner/instructor. I was a little nervous, but felt very safe in my instructor's hands... Big Papa Bear, I called him.... In fact, once I made the initial step out onto this platform under the wing, I was fine..... He was in control and I was strapped in... and felt very safe.... like a ride at an amusement park. It wasn't the crazy adrenaline rush I thought it might be...
