Weekend Report
Just a quick update on the weekend. I haven't updated in a while, so I felt like I was due. I feel like there are a few things going on these days to keep me busy. I'm working on my new blog-Exactly That-and will let you know when it's up and running...
Friday
-Fundraiser at Remington's... was OK... we performed Hairspray
-Hooked up with Angel de Puerto Rico.... hot, young 24-year-old who I'd met a few weeks prior.... I was 'touched by an angel' that night, 'N-K!
Saturday
-Slept in real late and was slug for most of the day... caught up on 4 hours of TV... read some magazines... played on the computer... took a nap
-Went to a cocktail party in Adams Morgan... was there for an hour... then came back home to veg out even more...
Sunday
-Met up with Joe, Andy and John Jackson for lunch on 17th Street.... finally some nice weather!!!
-Ran into a lot of people out and about, including Billy, this guy Jason and lots of Joe's friends...
-Ended up sitting out in Dupont Circle for a long time.... having to tolerate the anti-china/communism protest going on... lots of folks music and long speeches... the best was one guy singing, "Sandwiches... Sandwiches... Sandwiches... in America!" Huh??
-We also had to endure the granola kids passing out free food.... so, Plaza of the Americas at UF
-Andy and I spotted this kinda cute black kid walking around wearing a Duke Swimming shirt. He'd made several laps around the Circle and seemed to be cruising. We couldn't decide if he was just a young kid or possibly a hustler. He made eye contact with me several times... and I almost went to talk to him.... then he circled around again and came up to US! He said he name was Maurice, but his story was a little fishy... Prositute or young kid? We still don't know.... Maybe I should "Glance" him in the Blade... LOL!
Not much else going on.... need to work on the new Blog and Chad and my Podcast..... will keep you posted as to their arrival...
Tonight I'm going to meet with the House Rules committee at my condo about the plants.... we'll see how far I get with them. I just pray that David isn't there 'cuz then it might get ugly!!!!
Oh... so, you know how my officemate would wear that same sweatshirt/sweater for days on end last winter?? Well, on Friday, the sweater emerged again for another winter season!!! And it's back again today... Sweater Watch: Day 2!!! I'll keep ya posted....
