Is there going to be a klingon forehead and/or trill spots available? Or maybe some pixie wings? That looks fun, I've bookmarked it.

But of course! I plan to cut up most of the icons I've made and put the various pieces in there.

I'm going to put wings in the "Back" tab (Of course I have to have wings! And the first hats are Santa hats!) but it'll be tough squeezing them into a standard-sized icon. For some of the icons I've made, I cheated a bit - either by making the image larger than 17x17 to accommodate special features, or by resizing the basic image (sometimes I made the heads a little bigger or smaller). For the new icon maker, you're stuck with the standard constraints (at least for now).

That looks fun, I've bookmarked it.

I started it on Monday, just throwing in a few new pieces at a time. I figured that today I had enough to go public, but it'll keep growing. I think I need to announce it on lj-nifty next.

lj_nifty is awesome, I'm sure people will love it. Are you going to mention updates to what's available anywhere, or am I just going to have to look regularly to see what's been added?

I updated it several times today, and will probably be updating it frequently in the near future - so there's not much point in an mentioning it every time I do so.

Once it's stabilized, I'll probably say something if it's just getting updated at occasional intervals.

Save the icon as a PNG - the option to save as a GIF doesn't appear to work properly (the background wasn't transparent and there was some distortion on the test icon I just made).
